Polar Ice focuses on all things “pads”. From atmospheric, evolving, mellow, bright, synthetic, analogue, vocal, bells and cross-fades – Polar Ice brings almost 522 hand-crafted patches and multis for Spectrasonic’s Omnisphere 2 (almost 500 for Omnisphere 1 users).
Special attention has been taken to provide sonic characteristics that make Polar Ice sit well in both live and recorded projects. For performers, you will find some extra nuances in the sounds- using aftertouch, modwheel, and even repurposing the pitch bend to control levels. The goal was to make this pad project expressive and all-encompassing- providing you simple to complex sonic textures.
