The Oberheim Matrix 6 was introduced in the late 1980s following the legendary OB series. It is a powerful 6-Voice polyphonic synth and has been used on countless recordings. One interesting fact about the Matrix 6, is that it only operates in mono (not stereo). This sample pack is meant to give you variety and takes advantage of modern stereo pedals such as the Eventide Space and the GFI Specular Tempus.
Each one of the 25 sounds is provided as “Dry” and “Wet”, giving you the option to run these sounds through your own signal chain or use the production-ready sounds as they are. A majority of these sounds also come with an “Octave” version giving you an added layer of high-end shimmer. Check out how these samples can give your next project a unique sound like none other!
