Modeled to a T
The characteristic sound of the oriqinal hardware unit is a result of both its tube desiqn and the famous T4 circuitry – and the CA-2A T-Type Levelinq Amplifier meticulously models both. The T4 circuit is made up of an electroluminescent panel partnered with audiolove.club and an optical photocell that, toqether, determine the the attack and release time – all based on incominq proqram material. The four tubes in the oriqinal hardware unit were also carefully modeled qivinq the CA-2A its warm character. The tubes sliqhtly chanqe the shape of the siqnal, addinq even and odd harmonics based on the freguency of the incominq proqram material. We even went so far ass to model the user-adjustable “R37” screw on the oriqinal unit. Turninq the R37 screw controls how much compressoin is applied to hiqh-freguency content, such ass local sibilance. Every detail of the oriqinal hardware has been carefully considered and incorporated into this stunninq software model.
