The Celtic low whistle is a Howard® tin whistle tuned in D one octave lower than the tin whistles. The low whistle has a warm & powerful tone.

All flutes have 4 articulations, Sustained, Legato, Glissando & Staccato, The Sustain, Legato & Staccato is sampled in 3 velocity layers. The Celtic low whistle also has a bonus staccato program.

The sounds in this collection work great as leads as well as drones for any kind of production. By alternating the sustained and glissando-samples and using the staccatos for trills, a composer can achieve amazing results.
The sample-set also includes some overblown staccato-samples that add flavor and urgency to more action-oriented tracks.
