Snapping drums, rumbling basslines, and headnodding beats became a hallmark of Erick Sermon’s sound in the 90’s. As the credits stacked up, his production team took shape, and one of those in house producers was Rod “KP” Kirkpatrick (Fu-Schnickens, Keith Murray, Super Cat, Erick Sermon, and more), capturing that East Coast funk vibe in which the Green-Eyed Bandit became famous.
This collection of unreleased stems and sounds embodies that 90’s funk feel from someone who was right there laying it down.
