Tabla Warehouse:
Tabla is a pair of drums. It consists of of a small right-hand drum called dayan and a larger metal one called bayan. The rhythms found in this collection are Kerva (8 beat), Roopak (7 beat), Teen Taal (16 beat), Dadhra (6 beat), Pop, Dance, Filmi, Punjabi and other various original improvised loops.
Bollywood Warehouse:
Ghatam is one of the oldest percussion instruments of South India. The mouth of the Ghatam is open and is played with two hands, wrists, ten fingers and nails. Ghatam is a specially designed clay pot, usually made of a mixture of clay baked with brass or copper fillings and a small amount of iron fillings. Goldenchild Audio has recorded multi-hits of the Ghatam to give the user more flexibility to either form complete rhythms or to use each hit of the Ghatam in collection with other instruments in music.
Dhol Warehouse:
Dhol is a double-sided barrel drum played mostly as an accompanying instrument to the traditional Punjabi dance of Bhangra. The folder is built on a few popular and commonly found dhol rhythms and forms a valuable resource bank of loops to use and abuse, mix and match with the other collections found in this product or with other rhythm samples in your sound bank. Cymbals Warehouse:
Manjeera, also known as manjira, tala, khartal or kartal, are small metal cymbals that originated in India. They are held and played with the hands and often accompany folk or devotional music. Manjeera are usually made of bronze, brass, copper or zinc and connected with a copper cord which passes through holes in their center. They produce a rhythmic tinkling sound whose pitch varies according to their size, weight and the material of their construction. The manjeera has been recorded with a different pitch, tonal quality and sound.
Bhangra Warehouse:
The folder contains a collection of the following: Algoze, Tumbi, and Vocal phrases. Algoze, is a popular Punjabi flute found in most Bhangra music. The Tumbi, a high pitched, single string plucking instrument, is associated with folk music of Punjab and presently very popular in Western Bhangra music. The Tumbi samples are one-shots that can be used in hardware/software samplers to be be triggered to play an original melody. The Algoze samples are complete loops.
