Join us at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles with the revered producer and engineer Nick Launay, where he shares his experience and people skills approach to working with bands. Focussing on Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Launay discusses tracking at Sunset Sound studios, and enlightens us to his mixing process that comprises most of the work ‘in the box’, then finishing on a console.
We dive into the multi-track session of their song ‘Echo’, which contains a vast array of guitar tracks and two different drum kits.
