About Satnam
Satnam Singh Ramgotra is a Canadian-born Indian drummer and percussionist who is blending traditional drum set with Indian, African, and World Percussion elements into modern musical environments.
Satnam has shared the stage with world-renowned artists including Nikka Costa, Beck, Sting, Seal, Lili Haydn, Prince, Steve Vai, Game of Thrones Live, Ustad Shafquat Ali Khan, snd currently still tours with Hans Zimmer Live.
In addition, Satnam regularly works with Hollywood’s “A-list” film composer’s: Hans Zimmer, James Newton-Howard, John Powell, Atli Örvarsson, and Alberto Iglesias. His Motion Picture Film credits include; “Hancock”, “Ferdinand”, “Black Hawk Down”, “Inception”, “Zoolander”, “Matchstick Men”, “The Kite Runner”, “Charlie Wilson’s War”, “The Dark Knight”, “Monsters vs Aliens” and “The Jungle Book 2016”. Composition credits include; “Last Knights”, “Clash of Titans 2010”, “The Bible” tv series, and “Dunkirk”.
