VEQ3, Neve 1073 GUI Skin

This is a Waves Audio’s GUI VEQ3 plugin redesign, available for free on my new Patreon account. I´ve redesigned the GUI Skin for looking as close as possible to the vintage Neve 1073 EQ because VEQ3 has its sound or close in real life. I used Blender 2.9 for the 3D and Photoshop for the final details, getting a very realistic visual content.

I have not created the plugin, it is owned by WAVES AUDIO, I have only redesigned the GUI Skin to give it a more vintage and comfortable visual vibe.

There are more skins in development that will be available to all who subscribe with donations.

How to apply the skins:

Windows

1. Open Explorer to C: / Programs (x86) / Waves / Plug Ins V10 (or v11)/ PluginName.bundle / Contents

2. Make a copy of the existing PNG_.zip, Skin and GUIXML folders and put into a personal backup folder in case you want to go back to the old skin.

3. Copy the 3 Files provided in the correct folders and places according its names, Skin, GUIXML and PNG_.zip (this last one must be in .zip), put inside the specific Waves Plugin Content folder and close explorer.

4. Open your DAW of choice and you can now use the skin I made.

Mac OS X

1. Open Applications / Waves / Plug Ins V10 (or V11) / VEQ3.bundle, Right clic and choose “show Package contents”

2. Make a copy of the existing PNG_.zip, Skin and GUIXML folders and put into a personal backup folder in case you want to go back to the old skin.

3. Copy the 3 Files provided in the correct folders and places according its names, Skin, GUIXML and PNG_.zip (this last one must be in .zip), put inside the specific Waves Plugin Content folder and close explorer.

4. Open your DAW of choice and you can now use the new skin.

5. Enjoy it!

NOTE: tested in Waves v10 and v11, working on Soundgrid as well. Not working in Side Chain Mode into this specific plugins, CLA MixHub, Scheps Omnichannel because the size of the skin. I am making new skins for these ones and will be available for patreons suscribers soon.
