So we wanted to do something special with our 808 sound set. This time we aren’t using any 12-bit samplers or cassette, but vinyl! We pressed the entire sound set to a nice 7″ that plays at 45rpm, wore it out a little bit and then sampled it through our outboard gear. The resulting sounds are the classic 808 with a nice gritty character that only comes from well used records. Vinyl 808.
