For the VIP patches to work, you need to have both Omnisphere and Trilian installed and working well.
To install for Windows, simply merge the extracted STEAM folder with your existing one.
To install on MAC, it is the same, but be sure to pay attention to permissions and that sort of thing as per usual. I don’t run MAC so I can’t say myself.
If you already have a smaller 24 KB “A Taste of Omnisphere” .db file that does not work or show in Omnisphere menu, just overwrite it and now it will show up.
It was common to have libraries available online that had the Patch VIP .db @ 0 KB. That won’t work, you already know and agree. This will, so enjoy!
Special thanks to those of the past where it is from, involving this. \m/ Originally called “VIP_Patch_Library_Update_1_3_1” This release nowadays is to fix these things that it is very likely most aren’t even aware are problems in their library, because there is no visual error and you need to be learned to even know they exist in the first place. Now you learned. 🙂 Still, they are not easy to track down even knowing all this!
